i file di log

Come ogni sito web, catmu.it produce dei file di registrazione, log file appunto.
Questi tracciano ogni attività del servizio che viene erogato, come ad esempio la pagina richiesta, in quale giorno e ora, da quale IP è stata effettuata la richiesta, quali immagini sono state consegnate, quali altri file necessari a mostrare il contenuto di catmu.it, quale è il tuo programma di navigazione e certe volte se lo stai facendo da cellulare, tablet o computer.
Ogni sito, ogni agenzia web, produce questi file di registro in questo modo. Essi servono per verificare il corretto funzionamento del sito e di rispondere agli utenti e ai motori di ricerca in modo efficace. Se ci sono problemi, possiamo sempre partire da questi file per cercarne la causa.
Ma questi file non sono tenuti in eterno, normalmente ogni settimana sono analizzati, aggregati e spesso rimossi ogni mese.

I cookie, ovvero le briciole

Come le briciole sono un'informazione che viene memorizzata sul tuo computer in modo estremamente labile: se vuoi, puoi facilmente rimuoverli dal tuo programma di navigazione.

Per quali altre finalità usare i cookie?
Ad esempio per impostare la lingua in cui risponderti nel caso il sito sia multilingue, oppure per assegnarti un identificativo utente se ti registri, o evitare di chiederti di registrarti di nuovo alla nostra newsletter.
Non ti mostriamo sul nostro sito la pubblicità di altri siti, non ci appoggiamo a circuiti terzi per farlo, quindi non violiamo la tua privacy tramite i cookie.

Ma cosa hanno di negativo i cookie?
I nostri servono solo a farti navigare meglio tra le nostre pagine, ma alcune corporazioni li usano per analizzare cosa leggi e cosa fai quando passi da siti da loro gestiti o da loro controllati in qualche modo.

Informazioni che puoi fornirci attraverso il nostro sito

Come avrai notato ci sono dei moduli (in inglese form) che puoi compilare per comunicare con noi.
Quello che ci invii sarà memorizzato e trattato esattamente come se ci avessi inviato una email, non sarà fornito ad altri e noi lo tuteleremo con la stessa cura con cui trattiamo le nostre caselle di posta.

Questa versione non è allineata con la versione in inglese presente sul nostro sito: sì, la versione inglese l'ho generata usando un servizio web gratuito che ha applicato una serie di condizioni "standard", ma quanto scritto qui è più comprensibile e comunque corretto.
